What PPF is

A clear film you'll barely see.

There are a million causes of paint damage. Paint protection film is a virtually transparent, adhesive-coated clear film that resists the impact of everyday hazards and protects your boat's finish from unsightly damage — which helps maximize resale value.

Its shock-absorbing layer protects against scuffs, scratches, chips, insects and even washing brushes. Choose a gloss or matte surface to enhance your boat's natural color, or lay it over a new wrap as an added layer of protection.

Where it goes

Over gelcoat or over a wrap.

PPF works on bare gelcoat and paint, and on top of printed wraps and transoms.

Questions

Asked at the dock.

Straight answers to what boat owners ask us most. Anything else, call 813-325-7918.

Will I be able to see the film?

Barely. PPF is a virtually transparent film with superior optical clarity, so your boat's finish shows through.

Can PPF go over a vinyl wrap?

Yes. It's an added layer of protection for a new wrap or transom, and we recommend it for boats that fish hard.

Does it come in matte?

Yes — choose a glossy or matte surface finish.

Does PPF make cleaning easier?

It does. The film contains an anti-adhesion component, so dust and dirt stick much less and cleaning is less frequent and easier.
